What are mbDESIGN Hot Deals?

mbDESIGN produces all wheels 100% in its own production facility in Germany. It can therefore happen from time to time during the very complex coating process that a wheel is sorted out during the quality check. The wheel then has e.g. slight inclusions or small cavities inside or outside the field of vision.

When mounted on the vehicle, this is usually not visible. That's why we introduced Hot Deals at mbDESIGN from 2022 so as not to waste energy and raw materials unnecessarily and to minimize Co2.

With all the advantages of customer service and return policy, we provide the customer with discounts or special prices on these products. Unfortunately, we are not yet able to provide detailed descriptions online for every Hot Deal product that we sell. Because every bike is unique in that sense.

How is the condition of a product assessed?

All our products are quality checked before they are sold. Based on our quality check, each item is assigned one of the three ratings

1) OK = All right
2) Hot deal OK - Fine with minimal surface defects - Mounted on vehicle not relevant.
3) N.I.O - Not OK, wheel is stripped of paint and repainted.

In order to avoid misunderstandings, we would like to point out that I.O. Wheels minimal surface defects are allowed. Checking an alloy wheel under the daylight lamp on the living room table does not correspond to quality control intended for this purpose. :-)

How can I return my product if I'm not satisfied?

As an end customer, you can of course return the items as usual. However, the point of this hot deal is lost if further unnecessary costs and CO2 are generated by the transport. We therefore ask you to think carefully about the purchase beforehand and, if necessary, to take a look at the wheels beforehand. We can send pictures by email if you are seriously interested. We guarantee that the wheels are technically flawless. In the intended use of a wheel after assembly, the "pimple" is quickly forgotten and no longer relevant.

Stock is constantly changing. Is that normal?

Yes. Due to the constant movement of goods and ongoing production, we cannot predict the availability of a Hot Deal item. So check back often and order quickly as soon as this item is marked as a hot deal.

For quantities under 4, you can also order the missing number of wheels for the existing Hot Deal item and complete the set. Ask us for a special price.

How is the guarantee regulated?

The unrestricted statutory warranty applies to all hot-deal items at mbDESIGN.
